Floor collapses at Weight Watchers meeting in Sweden

Members of a Weight Watchers group in Sweden have to find a new place to weigh in after the floor beneath their feet caved in at a post-holiday weigh-in Wednesday, a Swedish newspaper reported.

As about 20 members lined up to compare how many pounds they’d shed, they heard a bang as the floor came away from the walls of the room.

“We suddenly heard a huge thud; we almost thought it was an earthquake, and everything flew up in the air. The floor collapsed in one corner of the room and along the walls,” one of the members of the Weight Watchers group told the Smålandsposten newspaper.
